When considering to sponsor a Valley Independent Percussion member you may be wondering "what will my contribution do?". Any little bit you can give can make a life-changing difference for a child hoping to change their life and leave a unique footprint on the world. The following are examples of what your gift can do.

  • $15.00 would pay for entry fees into the South Valley Winter Arts Association drum circuit so that we can compete and inspire youth, locally
  • $47.00 would pay for entry fees into the Winter Guard International (WGI) drum circuit so that we can compete against the best of the best in the world
  • $70.00 would help pay for the gasoline used for transportation of equipment to rehearsals and competitions as well as the use of the generator that powers the electronic synthesizers, speakers, mixers and other audio equipment
  • $90.00 would pay for sticks, mallets and drum heads that the students will use for the entire season
  • $100.00 would pay for drill design of marching patterns that will teach the students speed, strength and agility
  • $127.00 would help pay for facilities for the non-profit youth group to practice in
  • $147.00 would pay for a unique, made-to-order uniform that will help set the stage for success at competitions
  • $180.00 would pay for originally composed music that has never been performed before and will teach the students to draw on life experiences in order to perform emotionally
  • $234.00 would provide instruction for the entire six-month season the member will be a part of
  • $465.00 would help pay for the member's trip to and lodging in Dayton, Ohio for world championships
  • $25.00 would pay for a ticket to "Independent World Class" championships in Dayton, Ohio to help inspire the member to continue working hard and reaching for their dreams

Additional Expenses that the Member is Responsible For:

  • $350 - $500 would help pay for a plane ticket from California to Dayton, Ohio for the member to travel to world championships
  • $45 - $75 would help pay for shoes to march with for the entire season the member is a part of
  • $75 - $150 would pay for hotels per night at the WGI SoCal events
